Switchblade Riot

Real rock and roll is something that has been missing from the state of music today. Switchblade Riot hopes to change that. Hailing from Oakland, CA, Switchblade Riot is a four piece punk rock and roll band that is influenced by old-school punks like Social Distortion as well as the original rock and roll and rockabilly bands of the 50s. Switchblade Riot started playing shows at the beginning of 2005 and quickly established themselves as a unique sound and talent in the local punk scene. They have already won over many fans who are tired of MTV-style commercialized punk; they recently played in Los Angeles for Hellcat Records night, played alongside X at the Paso Robles Tattoo and Music Festival, with Sham 69 in San Francisco, the Germs and Adolescents for a New Year's party, and have toured each summer for the past 2 years on the DIY stage of the Warped Tour.
